Who Am I
I'm Sheridan Gary—an entrepreneur, author, and business strategist who spent 17 years building and running an eCommerce company before discovering that everything I needed to know about sustainable business growth was already in my garden.
That realization became "From Soil to Strategy," my first book connecting gardening principles to business strategy and Scrum methodology. It turns out that the patience required to nurture a seedling, the adaptability needed when weather shifts, and the ruthless prioritization of what actually deserves space in your garden are the same skills that build businesses that last.
I'm a Certified Scrum Master and Certified Product Owner, currently working as an Operations Specialist at PDI Technologies while building The Agile Gardener—a consultancy and framework that maps gardening wisdom to Scrum's core values. I believe the best business strategies aren't found in boardrooms; they're cultivated through observation, iteration, and a willingness to get your hands dirty.
My second book, "Everything We Refuse to Name: Breaking Patterns and Building Relationships That Work," explores how women professionals can build authentic strength without burning out—a topic born from my own journey navigating entrepreneurship, corporate work, and everything in between.
I write, speak, and consult on sustainable business growth, Agile methodologies, and the intersection of natural systems and organizational health. Based in Texas, I serve on a Library Board and share a home with my husband and two very opinionated dogs.
